Josh has been passionate about combat throughout his life, and it’s a unique privilege for him to incorporate this skill into his professional work. As a skilled tumbler, fighter, and scene partner, Josh has received training and mentorship from distinguished experts, including Dan Granke, Amie Root, Connor Hammond, and Paul Kalina.

 

An SAFD certified Actor Combatant, Josh holds certifications in Rapier + Dagger, Longsword, and Unarmed combat. He specializes in choreographing fights that reveal character, intention, and enhance onstage action. For Josh, stage violence is a crucial tool for storytelling, used to highlight the stakes and dynamics within the play’s world.
